Jun 24 - Exciting Summer Nights Programme Announced

The Ministry of Culture has been working closely with the J2 Productions and Fresh Entertainment in order to provide a very entertaining programme for this year’s 2014 Summer Nights. The proposals presented by the events producers definitely points to the public being able to enjoy a varied number of activities.

The programme of events is as follows:

Saturday 12th July: Pride Night

Thursday 17th July: Acoustic Nights

Saturday 19th July: Soul Saturday

Thursday 24th July: Circus Comes To Town

Saturday 26th July: Music and Motion

Thursday 31st July: A Taste of Morocco

Saturday 2nd August: Nostalgia: Music Through the Ages

Thursday 7th August: Gibraltar’s Got Talent

Saturday 9th August: Live and Unsigned

Thursday 14th August: An Evening of Young Musicians

Saturday 16th August: Tropical Fiesta

Fun activities of face-painting, jumping castles and other activities will be provided every Thursday and Saturday night.

The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares said:

I would like to thank the organisers and all those groups, associations and individuals, who will be taking part in the different events and, in so doing, are providing Gibraltar with a diverse selection of quality entertainment.

I wish you all, residents and visitors alike, an enjoyable and entertaining Summer Nights 2014.’

The annual Summer Nights will be held every Thursday and Saturday from Saturday 12th July to Saturday 16th August 2014 at Casemates Square from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.
