Aug 14 - Even More Local Acts Added to the Gibraltar Music Festival Line Up
Further to this afternoons announcement on further international acts to perform at this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival, local band Jetstream, singer Jamie Chiappe, DJs Racs & Lima and reggae group Heritage have also joined the bill, which boasts a varied selection of artists from across the musical spectrum.
Commenting on the announcement, Minister for Culture Steven Linares said, 'We hope to entertain more than 10,000 people with nearly 40 acts across 4 stages. This year’s edition of the Gibraltar Music Festival is set to be bigger and better than its very successful predecessors and is attracting more people from abroad to come to Gibraltar to enjoy it.'
'With great live music from 12 midday till past 12 midnight, this festival will no doubt prove to be another great day out for the whole family', he added.
VIP tickets for the event, set for September 6th at the Victoria Stadium are now sold out, however General Entry and Reserved Seating tickets are still on sale at Vijay and Music Corner on Main Street, Gib Oil petrol stations, the Alameda, Ocean Village Express shops and online, via the Festival’s website.
