Oct 16 – “Death In Paradise Ramp” - Sixth Bresciano Mystery Launched
The sixth novel in Sam Benady and Mary Chiappe’s Bresciano detective series was launched yesterday evening at the Fine Arts Gallery. ‘Death in Paradise Ramp’ is set in 1802 and sees the local detective try to solve a murder that took place four years before by relying on only a limited number of clues.
Speaking at the launch, Mary said that although she and Sam “write to entertain” the process of finishing a novel together is often laborious.
“It is hard to conceive the plot and then it is hard to give birth to it,” she said.
Minister Neil Costa presented the book. The book is on sale in local bookshops.
