Feb 02 - GNDO Secures Trademark
The Gibraltar National Dance Organisation is delighted to announce that the ‘Gibraltar National Dance Team’ is now an official trademark whose proprietor is the GNDO.
The trademark which is registered in the United Kingdom with registration number UK3072925 was registered under the provisions of the Trade Marks Act covering class number 41. The trademark is also registered with the Registrar of Trade Marks in Gibraltar with No 10681.
GNDO President Seamus Byrne said:
‘Our Organisation is delighted to have acquired all the rights that will secure the Gibraltar National Dance Team as an exclusive recognizable brand of the GNDO.
There are many famous trademarks such as Nike, Adidas, amongst many others. The law considers the GNDT trademark to be the exclusive property of the GNDO. By acquiring the trademark of the GNDT, the mark will represent the services provided nationally and internationally by the GNDO which will ensure that only nationally approved teams, by the GNDO committee, can be referred to as the Gibraltar National Dance Team.

The registration will remain in force until the 17th September 2024.
