The Defence Fire and Rescue Service this morning carried out a charity led, ‘hose pull’ along Main Street. Raising funds on behalf of the Citizens Advice Bureau’s ‘Improving Lives, Brick by Brick’ Campaign, the service deployed and recovered 70mm hoses from outside the ICC, up to the Convent.

The Government is pleased to announce the return of the New Year’s Classical Music Concerts to the annual cultural calendar. The events will be organised for the Ministry of Culture by the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society in collaboration with Gibraltar Cultural Services.
The Ministry of Culture will organise as part of the ‘Christmas Spectacular,’ a series of exciting events, a ‘Winter Party in Town,’ to be held at Casemates Square on Saturday 20 December. John Mackintosh Square and Chatham Counterguard will also see a number of events during the day. The main event at Casemates Square will start 13.30 and is scheduled to finish at 20.00 (approx). The event has been carefully designed to make it a family day event for all to enjoy.
