Sep 24 - Statement By The Chief Secretary On Joanna Hernandez Bullying Investigation
The Chief Secretary has issued the following statement after the GSD raised concerns about the manner in which the investigation into allegations of bullying made against Joanna Hernandez is being conducted:
“The investigation into the bullying allegations is complete and, in accordance with the policy document, notification of the outcome to both parties will be carried out by the Head of Department. In the interest of fairness, this will take place as soon as both parties are available in order not to notify one without the other.
“It is incorrect to state that Mrs Hernandez has ‘not been interviewed by anyone in respect of the allegations.’ The investigating panel had an opportunity to meet and discuss the allegations with her.”
