Oct 01 - New Governor For Gibraltar Announced
Lieutenant-General Edward Davis CB CBE has been appointed as Governor of Gibraltar and Commander-in-Chief to succeed Lieutenant-General Sir James Benjamin Dutton KCB CBE.
Lieutenant-General Edward Davis will take up his appointment in early 2016. Mrs Alison MacMillan MVO will assume the functions of Governor of Gibraltar until Lieutenant-General Edward Davis formally takes up his appointment.
He currently serves as the Deputy Commander of NATO Land Forces in the rank of Lieutenant General, based in Turkey. For more information about his previous posts, see below:
