May 20 – Number Six: Disclosure of Members’ Interests – The Focus is Now Firmly On GSD
The Government says that the statement from Isolas and Fiduciary has “confirmed and put entirely beyond doubt” the fact that Albert Isola has properly disclosed all his interests in his Declaration of Interest form.
Number Six says it is now essential that the GSD give unequivocal answers to the following questions:
- Was Daniel Feetham aware that Elliott Phillips filed his Declaration of Interest form six months late, only days before that of Albert Isola?
- If not, when and from whom did Mr Feetham find out that Mr Phillips had filed his Declaration of Interest form late?
- Given how negatively Mr Feetham considers that Mr Isola's late filing of his Declaration of Interest form should be viewed, what actions is he considering taking against Mr Phillips in respect of his own "woefully late" filing of his Declaration of Interest form?
- Will Mr Phillips now confirm and explain why he filed his Declaration of Interest form late?
The Government says that the answers to these questions “will be eagerly awaited by all fair-minded people.”
