Aug 15 - Hassan Nahon Welcomes Establishment Of Brexit Select Committee
The Independent Member of Parliament, Marlene Hassan Nahon, has said that she welcomes the Government of Gibraltar’s initiative to establish “The Select Committee on the EU”.
Marlene Hassan Nahon said: “Now that the dust has settled, the time has come to think ahead from within the hub of democracy that is our Parliament, to find creative and practical solutions that will ensure the continued development and prosperity of the people of Gibraltar from within this new reality that is a Brexit Gibraltar.”
Marlene Hassan Nahon added that she particularly welcomes the decision to make the composition of the committee inclusive, and asks people from all sectors of the community to come forward and get in touch with her so that she can represent their voices on the committee.
