Aug 18 – GSD Congratulates A-Level Students
The GSD has congratulated all A-Level students who have been successful in their recent examinations.
GSD spokesperson, Edwin Reyes, said: "It is wonderful to note that Gibraltar’s A-Level results have attained a 96% overall pass rate. It is indeed encouraging to note that 36% of students have achieved grades A*-B, which sees a rise of 3% on last year.
“Exam time is a stressful and worrying time for students, families and teachers, not all may have achieved their expectations or aims but should never give up and further their careers in whatever path they desire.
“A special mention of thanks also goes to the teachers and staff in our schools whose contribution in preparing our students is recognised as always, at all levels, posts and grades. Teachers and staff have been collectively responsible for ensuring our students maximise their potential and gave their best throughout all their school years.”
