Sep 26 – Gibraltar Identified As One Of The “Many Hurdles Of Brexit”
An influential UK political commentator has listed Gibraltar as one of the “many hurdles” that need to be overcome by the Tories in order to implement Brexit.
David Allen Green, a columnist on law and policy for the Financial Times, listed a series of 19 hurdles in his “Jack of Kent” blog:
“I call each of these a 'hurdle' – because it is possible that each one of these can be negotiated and jumped over; but it is also possible that each one can be an obstruction.”

Although Mr Green has explained that he is generally neutral on the result, he has been fiercely – and often amusingly – sceptical that the UK political establishment has the resources, skills and sheer determination to undertake the many complex changes required by Brexit.
