Feb 10 - Goverment Says Opposition Is Repeating Its Old Story

The Government says it is unsure whether yesterday's Opposition statement regarding the Care Agency is a new Press Release or merely a repetition of a previous one as it offers nothing new in the way of opinions, facts or arguments.

A spokesman for Number Six added: "As a consequence, the Government merely points out, again, that its financial investment in the Care Agency continues to rise, standards of care continue to improve and the turnover of social and other workers at the Care Agency continues to fall.

"If Mr Llamas were to turn up to the next session of Parliament he would have all this explained to him.

"For its part the Government will continue to work with the unions and staff for the benefit of the service users, their families and the people who do such a great job working there."
