Daniel Feetham Receives GSD Life Membership

At its Executive Meeting yesterday the GSD Executive approved to confer Life Membership of the Party on Daniel Feetham.

At its Executive Meeting yesterday the GSD Executive approved the wording of the Motion that will be proposed at the 4 June AGM by Party Leader Keith Azopardi to confer Life Membership of the Party on Daniel Feetham.
The wording reads:
This Meeting CONSIDERS that DANIEL FEETHAM has made an outstanding contribution to the GSD over the last 20 years as former Leader, Minister and former Leader of the Opposition AND is fully deserving of the highest honour that this Party can bestow on him AND as such FULLY SUPPORTS AND RECOMMENDS that Life
Membership of the Party Executive be conferred on him.
At yesterday’s meeting the GSD Executive also received the nominations for the Executive Elections which have now closed. The elections themselves will be held at the Party’s AGM at John Mackintosh Hall on 4 June 2026 at 6pm.
There are 12 candidates for the remaining 8 elected places on the Executive. These are: Sean Ballester, Matthew Turnock, Robert Azopardi, Nuhaila Mkerref, Julian Celecia, Elliott Phillips, Eddie Wood, Humbert Peliza, Nick Cruz, Brian Richardson, Jamie Rocca and Adrian Revagliatte. Those elected in June will join the 30-person Party Executive.
Party Members will now receive a communication on voting process and information about the candidates. A Meet the Candidates event will be held at Party HQ at College Lane on Saturday 30 May between 11am to 1.30pm. All members are welcome.
Party Leader, Keith Azopardi said: “I am delighted to be moving the Motion to confer Life Membership on Daniel Feetham at next month’s AGM. The Executive has now fully endorsed the wording of the Motion which I will move with their support. I wish the best of luck to all prospective candidates at the Executive Elections. Once this important phase of internal Party elections is over we will have in place the Executive that will face the important pre-election decisions ahead of the next General Elections and continue our campaign for change.”
