Traffic Management Arrangements – The Wine Festival

The Royal Gibraltar Police will be implementing a number of parking restrictions, road closures and diversions as part of the wider policing and security operation for this year’s Wine Festival Event, which is scheduled to take place at Reclamation Road on Friday 3rd July 2026.
A statement from the RGP follows below:
Parking Restrictions (2200hrs Wednesday 1st July until further notice)
∙ A section of Reclamation Road between the Midtown parking entrance and Chatham Counterguard/American War Memorial.
Road Closures & Diversions
(0900hrs Thursday 2nd July to 0900hrs Saturday 4th July 2026)
∙ Reclamation Road will be closed to all northbound traffic, between Regal House and the junction of Reclamation Road with Queensway by Chatham Counterguard.
∙ All traffic travelling north along Reclamation Road will be diverted through the Midtown coach park into Queensway.
Note: Vehicular access into Midtown parking and the Regal House private parking area will remain available via controlled access points at Reclamation Road operated by personnel at location.
Public Service Vehicles
∙ All public service vehicles operating northbound along Reclamation Road will similarly be diverted through Midtown car park and into Queensway, during the period of these restrictions.
