Oct 18 - Costa Attends High Profile Events in London
Minister for Tourism, Public Transport, Commercial Affairs and the Port, the Hon Neil Costa MP will be taking part in several high profile events in connection with the celebrations of Gibraltar Day in London.
On Monday 21st he will host a ‘Maritime and Tourism’ breakfast at Trinity House for leading representatives of the two sectors. At this event, his speech will examine Gibraltar’s performance in these areas over the past year.
Mr Costa will also attend the Chief Minister’s ‘Financial Services Lunch’ later that day and Mr Picardo’s reception at The Great Hall in Guildhall in the evening.
The following day the Minister will take part in the ‘City Breakfast’ at One Moorgate Place, exclusively for the Gaming community and a select group of MP’s.
Mr Costa also expects to hold other meetings in relation to on-going tourism matters.
On Sunday October 20th he will be at the Our Lady of Dolours Servite Church for a service that will be celebrated by the Bishop of Gibraltar, The Rt Rev Bishop Ralph Heskett, with Revd Patrick Ryall.
Mr Costa said he was delighted to be participating in these events to promote Gibraltar.
“I am very pleased to host the Maritime and Tourism breakfast where I plan to meet with some of the leading UK figures in both sectors, and continue the Gibraltar Government’s energetic drive to promote these key areas of our economy” he added.
Chief Minister Fabian Picardo is set to leave Gibraltar on Sunday to attend Gibraltar Day in London, he will return on Wednesday.
