Nov 20 - Exercise Rocky Pigeon
Exercise Rocky Pigeon 13 will take place today. This test of the Nuclear Emergency Response Plan in Gibraltar will be carried out jointly by the Government and British Forces Gibraltar and will take place within the Naval Base and inside No 6 Convent Place.
The training exercise will be directed by military personnel from the UK and assessed by the Defence Nuclear Safety Regulator. Although there may be a substantial amount of activity throughout the day at the Naval Base, no disruption to the general public is anticipated.
