Dec 05 - Catalan MP Visits Gibraltar

In line with the policy of explaining the Gibraltar point of view to elected politicians from Madrid and elsewhere, the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia met this morning with Mr Alfred Bosch, who is a Member of the "Congreso de los Diputados".

Mr Bosch, who belongs to Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC), represents the Barcelona constituency and is in Gibraltar on a fact-finding mission.

This is not the first time that members of the Congreso de los Diputados or of Esquerra Republicana have visited Gibraltar.

Mr Bosch was briefed on the latest political developments between Gibraltar and Spain.
