Jan 27 - HMGoG Reiterates Non-Involvement in the Internal Affairs of Spain

HMGoG wishes to reiterate its reaction to stories in the PP government-leaning Spanish media over an alleged alliance with separatist parties against Spain.

The Government has already clearly explained its position on this issue. Successive administrations in Gibraltar have always maintained a strict policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of Spain.

Consequently, HMGoG categorically rejects any claims or insinuations in the Spanish media regarding a common policy with separatist parties in our neighbouring country. HMGoG will continue this line.

HMGoG calls on the Spanish Government to take due note of this policy, and not to pretend the position is different.
