Jul 14 - Chief Minister At UKOTS Meeting In Cayman Islands

The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo,. left Gibraltar today to attend meetings of Premiers of the UK Overseas Territories in the Cayman Islands. The different leaders have been convened to discuss the agenda of the Joint Ministerial Council to be held in December in London.

Mr Picardo is participating in his capacity as President of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association and will chair the various meetings being held.

During the Chief Minister’s absence, the Deputy Chief Minister, the Honourable Dr Joseph Garcia, MP. will act as Chief Minister. Mr Picardo returns on Friday.
