Jul 16 - Governor to Visit Minister Costa
As part of the new Governor’s familiarisation contacts with the community, Sir James Dutton will be paying a courtesy visit to all the offices of the Minister for Tourism, Commercial Affairs, Public Transport and the Port, Neil Costa on July 22nd.
Sir James will be calling on the Minister at his Europort offices, on CEO Nicky Guerrero and his team at the Gibraltar Tourist Board in Duke of Kent House, the Gibraltar Maritime Administration and the GTB Information Office in Casemates.
He will then make his way to the Gibraltar Bus Company and the Consumer Affairs Department.
Minister Costa welcomed the Governor’s initiative and said the Ministry was privileged to receive the Queen’s representative and highest office in Gibraltar.
Mr Costa commented, ‘I am delighted that His Excellency will be paying us a visit and meeting our hard working teams at the various departments under my ministerial portfolios. We will have an opportunity to update him on the vital work that we do to generate economic wealth for the benefit of the people of Gibraltar.’
