Oct 10 - GSD to Question Government on Ebola and Attorney General Post
The GSD Opposition have tabled their questions for the next sitting of Parliament scheduled for Thursday 16th October. Leader of the Opposition Daniel Feetham will be posing a series of questions, which are of concern to the party and to the community at large.
Mr Feetham will be quizzing government on what threat (if any) they believe is posed to the population in Gibraltar by the Ebola virus and what measures have the Government put in place in order to deal with that threat.
Other questions will include asking how many people have applied for the post of Attorney General and whether the position will continue to attract the same salary as it does at present. He will also ask whether Government has now made a final decision on the exact location of the new Power Station and why the tunnel project has been allocated to GJBS without any tender and when are the works likely to commence.
Daniel Feetham will also be asking government to confirm whether the report from the enquiry into the allegations of abuse at the Dr Giraldi home will be made public.
