Oct 29 - FCO Condemns Most Recent Incursion by Spanish Research Vessel

The Foreign Office last night raised concern over a further unlawful incursion into BGTW by Spanish State research vessel Francisco de Paula Navarro, which attempted to conduct environmental survey activity within British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.

The FCO has mad clear their ‘deep disappointment at the repeated incursions by Spanish state research vessels’ to the Government of Spain, ‘particularly following the recent incident involving the Angeles Alvariño on 5 October’.
