Mar 23 - ESG Calls On Government To Provide Reassurance On LNG Ship Transfer

The Environmental Safety Group has said that, given that the first local ship-to-ship LNG transfer took place in Gibraltar on Friday, it has called for Government to confirm that the right conditions are in place for this activity to be carried out.

A spokesperson from the ESG said: “The public need a response from GoG stating if there is the necessary safety regulation and enforcement and expertise locally, to carry this out safely, together with the necessary emergency protocols and capabilities.”
