Apr 06 - No Meetings Of Parliament Before Referendum
In his capacity as the Leader of the House, the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, has today informed the Speaker that there will be no meetings of the Gibraltar Parliament prior to 23 June. The decision has been agreed by both Government and Opposition.
Apr 06 - Feetham: “Sovereignty Of Gibraltar Is Not Negotiable”
The Leader of the Oppositon, Daniel Feetham, has said that the recent statements made by the Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia- Margallo in Argentina that the Spanish Government is ready to engage the United Kingdom in bilateral sovereignty negotiations over Gibraltar “illustrate how disconnected from reality he truly is.”

Apr 05 - Gibraltar Government And Falkland Islands Joint Statement: “The Wishes Of The People Must Be Paramount”
The Governments of Gibraltar and of the Falkland Islands have reacted to the meeting and joint press conference that took place in Buenos Aires yesterday between the Foreign Minister of Argentina Susana Malcorra and the Caretaker Foreign Minister of Spain Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo and issued a joint statement arguing that the wishes of the people of both territories “must be paramount.”

In what marks the start of a campaign to bring together Gibraltar’s key representative and civil society organisations, the newly formed ‘Gibraltar Stronger In Europe’ board met today with the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia and the Leader of the Opposition Daniel Feetham, who, in their capacities as party leaders, have confirmed their wholehearted support for the Stronger In Campaign.
