Sep 24 - Gibraltar Port Authority Hosts Visit From Dubai Maritime City Authority

A senior delegation from Dubai Maritime City Authority was hosted by the Gibraltar Port Authority on the 17th September.

The team, led by the Director for Operations, Mr Mohammad Albastaki, came to Gibraltar to gain insights in bunkering and ship to ship (STS) operations.

The Minister for the Port, the Hon Paul Balban said: "This visit highlights the international recognition of the best practices we have developed in Gibraltar.

"The fact that authorities in such a dynamic country as Dubai are looking at our standards as a benchmark is indicative of the highest levels of safety and efficiency achieved by both the Gibraltar Port Authority and the bunker operators in our busy port."
