Sep 29 - Prior Park Gibraltar - Meet The Headmaster Event
Prior Park Gibraltar's Headmaster, Peter Watts, introduced himself to parents at The Rock Hotel last night. Mr Watts shared his vision for the new school which is set to open in September 2016 at the former Sacred Heart campus in the Upper Town. Mr Watts’s presentation expressed his excitement for the project and the plans for the academic and co-curricular provision.
Martin Stapleton, from appointed architect firm Morgan Carn, revealed preliminary ideas for the site's refurbishment to the packed room.
Also in attendance was Toni Valarino Sanderson, the newly appointed Assistant Bursar, James Murphy O'Connor, Principal, Prior Park Schools, Tony McNiff, Business and Finance Director PPS and Prior Park College Alumni.
Interest has been high for the first independent Catholic senior school in Gibraltar. The school will open for Years 8 through to 10 in 2016, Years 11 and 12 in 2017 with full senior school provision from September 2018.
Earlier in the day Mr Watts received a warm welcome from the children at Loreto Convent School and was deeply touched by the homemade welcome card they presented to him.
