Oct 26 - Snagging Appointments For Seashell House Allocated
The Government says that the construction of affordable homes in Seashell House is now complete. Purchasers can expect a letter within the next few days with further information and details of their snagging appointment.
Minister for Housing, Samantha Sacramento, said: “Now that the snagging process at Sand Dune House is well underway and works to communal areas are progressing extremely quickly, I’m pleased to announce that the construction of Seashell House has completed. I’m delighted with the standard that Beach View Terraces is being completed to. I’m proud of this investment in the people of Gibraltar and the very positive results of this investment that are already visible after just a few short years.”
The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, said: “This Government has kept its promise to deliver affordable homes for Gibraltar. Now that construction works to both blocks at Beach View Terraces have finished, I am looking forward to the completion of Mons Calpe Mews and Charles Bruzon House, and the start of work to Hassan Centenary Terraces and Bob Peliza Mews. This will, in turn, alleviate the housing waiting list significantly. A shortage of affordable homes had almost become a crisis in Gibraltar. In a few short years this Government has successfully implemented holistic and co-ordinated policies that have gone a long way to solving it.”
