Dec 23 - The University Of Gibraltar Welcomes Its First Cohort Of PhD Students
The University of Gibraltar inducted its first cohort of PhD students earlier this month.
An overview of expectations and an initial training session on the boundaries of doctoral research was provided by Programme Leader Dr Ingrid Mulà.
Dr Darren Fa, the University's Director of Academic Programmes and Research, and Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Daniella Tilbury formally welcomed students to the university’s academic community and confirmed that if successful, they will be able to graduate with a University of Gibraltar degree.
Professor Tilbury said: "Inducting our first cohort of PhD Students has been one of most memorable moments of this semester. The University is truly honoured to count with such high calibre students - all of whom will be undertaking research of value to Gibraltar."
