Jan 13 - Firework Damage To New Block

We’re all warned about the dangers irresponsible firework use poses to people but it’s no surprise that they can also cause substantial damage to buildings.

These pictures, which were sent to YGTV, show damage to an exterior wall of Seagull Lodge, one of the new affordable housing blocks in Mons Calpe Mews. The damage was caused by a firework during New Year’s Eve.

Yesterday, a Government spokesperson confirmed that repairs to Seagull Lodge still fall under the responsibility of the contractor as the development has not yet been handed over to Government.
