Jan 13 - Prior Park Headmaster Arrives In Gibraltar
The Headmaster of the new Prior Park School has started 2016 by relocating to Gibraltar. Peter Watts will be based at the School’s temporary office in 3 Bell Lane whilst refurbishment of the old Sacred Heart site is carried out.
Peter’s wife, Diana, and two children will be moving out to Gibraltar in July once their son has completed his GCSE’s. The school opens this September so Peter’s time will be taken up with recruiting teaching staff, working on curricular and co-curricular timetables, getting to know parents and children and overseeing the progress of the refurbishment, which is due to start in the next few weeks.
Prior Park Gibraltar has also unveiled its new school uniform to parents and children. Girls will wear a navy fitted jacket with school crest, navy pleated skirt and white cotton blouse with embroidered crest. Boys will wear navy blazer with crest, straight navy trousers and white shirt with school tie. The school will also have its own PE kit and accessories such as school rucksack and sports bag.
