Feb 02 - Logo Competition Held For Gibraltar 2019 Island Games

After the success of the 1995 Island Games, Gibraltar is once again hosting the games in 2019 and the Gibraltar 2019 Island Games Organising Committee is calling for the community's help in designing a games logo. 

The Gibraltar 2019 Island Games Organising Committee invites graphic artists of all ages and skill levels to enter the logo design competition.  Entrants may submit up to two original designs electronically or in hard copy. To view past games logos visit www.iiga.org/games.html

Logos should be simple in design, suitable for printing and will be widely used on websites, banners, posters, letterheads, programmes, flyers, merchandise, tickets, venue signage or other promotional and marketing material locally and internationally.  Any colour palette can be used but the logo must contain the words GIBRALTAR 2019 ISLAND GAMES XVIII

The prize for the winning entry is £250 plus 2 x VIP invitations to the Opening Ceremony of the Gibraltar 2019 Island Games.  Entries can be hand delivered to the Gibraltar Sport and Leisure Authority (GSLA), Bayside Sports Centre, Bayside Road between 9:00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.  Hard copy entries must be submitted on an A4 size of paper or card and in a ‘portrait’ orientation and addresses to ‘Gibraltar 2019 Island Games Logo Competition’.  Entries can also be posted to the Gibraltar Island Games Association, PO Box 821, Gibraltar GX11 1AA or submitted via email (in a PDF or JPG format, 300 dpi) to This email address is being protected from spambots.
