Mar 15 - Minister For Culture Congratulates Local Artist Derek Duarte

The Minister for Culture Steven Linares would like to publicly congratulate local artist Derek Duarte who has once again been pre-selected for the second round of the London Mall Galleries "The New English Art Club Exhibition".

The prestigious club exhibits paintings, drawings and prints selected from an open submission and features the winners of several major prizes, including The Haworth Prize for a young landscape painter from the North of England. The main exhibition takes place in June.

Mr Linares said: "Well done Derek and best of luck in the next round."
