Jul 13 - GSLA Summer Sports And Leisure Activities For Next Week

Starting next Monday 18th July at the Bayside Sports Centre, training will continue throughout the week from 9.30am to 2pm, culminating in a Festival of Sport for 7 & 8 year olds on Tuesday 26th July.

A great course for building confidence, developing organisational and leadership skills.

Summer Sports & Leisure Programme 2016 - Week beginning 18th July.

Bayside Sports Centre. 

  • GSLA Sports Train Monday to Friday 10am to 12.30pm, including hockey skills and drills, table, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, rounders, fitness and healthy eating workshops, cheerleading and outdoor adventure for 7 to 14 year olds.
  • GSLA Children’s Corner Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 10am to 12.30pm lots of fun games and sporting activities for 5 and 6 year olds.
  • GSLA Sports Leadership Award Level 1 – Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2pm and Festival of Sport Tuesday 26th July for 14 to 16 year olds.
  • GSLA Teenage Activity evening – Tuesday evening 8 to 10.30pm – Paddle boarding, canoeing, paddle tennis, climbing, basketball 3 v 3 for Young people aged 11 and over.
  • GSLA Family Fun night – Tuesday evening 8pm to 10.30pm.
  • Gymnastics and Pre-School Gymnastics Monday to Friday – times confirmed on booking.
  • Bayside Basketball Summer Camp – Monday to Wednesday 10am to 12.30pm.
  • Tag Rugby – Monday to Wednesday and Girls only Rugby Thursday and Friday 10am to 12.30pm. 
  • Beach Volleyball – Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 12noon and GVA annual Beach Volleyball competition for juniors and seniors at Eastern Beach.
  • Childline – Theatrical Arts – Wednesday 10am to 12.30pm. 
  • Cricket coaching and match play for boys and girls.

  • GASA Learn to Swim and Swimming Summer Camp for swimmers.
  • Gardening Fun and Eco Arts at Alameda Gardens.
  • Young at Art with Gibraltar Youth Service, Learning about Gibraltar’s heritage through arts and crafts, Arts and Crafts at the Casemates Arts & Crafts Centre and outdoor sketching and painting at Jumper’s Battery.
