Jul 15 - Chief Minister Meets Director Of EFRAT

This morning the Chief Minister met with Dr. Eli Schussheim, who for the over 40 years has been the Director of EFRAT, an Israeli NGO with the mission of convincing women considering abortions to continue their pregnancies by providing them with information and financial aid.

A statement from Number Six said: “EFRAT’s goal is to provide women with objective information, helping them make an informed decision about their pregnancy. In this way, EFRAT has empowered thousands of women and saved the lives of thousands of children.”

The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, said: ‘I was very interested to meet Dr Schussheim and hear about his work with EFRAT. EFRAT’s story is quite remarkable and very interesting to understand’.
