• Holland And Barrett Vitamins Gibraltar Offer

Sep 06 - GMF Rocks The Rock

Top acts including Ne-Yo, Travis, Stereophonics, All Saints and Europe drew the crowds at this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival.

The two-day event featured a number of local acts as well including Frontiers, JetStream, Metro Motel, Orfila, Omnibus and Adrian Pisarello across the Main Stage, the Gibtelecom Stage and the Seaside Stage. After the headline act finished their set on the Main Stage, DJ's provided the sounds at the Seaside Dub Club on the Gibtelecom stage until the early hours for those with the stamina to carry on.

Gibraltar flags could be seen across the stages, with many acts including Foxes and Rosario claiming they were happy to be performing in Gibraltar. The artists were also given a Gibraltar Monkey, with many of them taking to their social media pages to share photographs of themselves posing with their new gifts.

For the first time this year, there was an Acoustic Stage featuring everything from music to poetry, as well as a Comedy area featuring comedians Nathan Caton and Paul Foot and a Circus stage with magicians and a daredevil show which attracted younger audiences.

Some 12,000 people attended this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival, with plenty to do for people of all ages.

The only question remains is - what’s in store for next year’s festival?
