Mar 20 - Grand Home Care / MedDoc Dispute: Unite Urges All Parties To Enter Into “Proper Process Of Consultation”

Unite the Union says it would be in the interest of all parties in the Grand Home Care / MedDoc dispute to enter into a proper process of consultation with regards to the transfer of employees. The union warns that failure to do so “could have a negative impact on the service provided and in particular to the service users.”

A spokesperson for Unite said: “We would like to express once again that Unite’s interest does not lie in the issues the companies involved may have, but that of safeguarding our members’ rights and best interest both at MedDoc and Grand Home Care.

“We therefore call that the process be put on hold and meaningful consultation and negotiations take place between all relevant parties.”
