Apr 23 - Governor Of Gibraltar Congratulates Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge On The Birth Of Their Third Child

His Excellency the Governor, Lieutenant General Edward Davis CB CBE KStJ is delighted to confirm that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of boy at 11:01 am UK time today, 23rd April 2018.

The Governor said: “Lorraine and I offer our heartfelt and warmest congratulations to Their Royal Highnesses on the birth of a baby boy; their third child. We wish them every possible happiness and blessing that the arrival of a new Family member brings. Such wonderful, uplifting news for our Nation."

With the permission of the Royal Household, a Notice of Birth has been attached to the front gate of The Convent.

A 21-gun Salute will be fired by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment at 3pm on 24th April 2018. The Reviewing Officer will be Mrs Davis.
