Mar 07 - Loreto Convent School Celebrate World Book Day

This year Loreto Convent School says it welcomed Andrea Prior, an author-illustrator, who gave readings to the children from a range of her books. 

Andrea gave an insight into her work as an illustrator giving live demonstrations on the process of drawing characters and held a book signing at the end of the day.

The school librarians held a second hand book sale, gave talks on Roald Dahl, organised a reader quiz and a World Book Day Poetry competition.
