Kitchen Studios GEMA 3 Month Takeover Begins This Friday With Opening Bash

Kitchen Studios have announced a special three-month creative takeover of GEMA – Gibraltar Exhibitions of Modern Art, in collaboration with Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, to mark the gallery’s 10th Anniversary. There will be an opening night event this Friday 3rd October at 6:30pm with installations, live music from Nikolai Celecia and the Coastliners followed by a drink and draw session featuring Phoenix Dance Company.

Starting Friday 3rd October 2025, we return to Montagu Bastion—the site of our very first open studio—to celebrate a decade of contemporary art with a season of workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
Our programme brings artists, families, and curious minds together, transforming the gallery into a living studio where experimentation and community meet.
