Mar 05 - Books for John Mackintosh Hall Library
Coinciding with tomorrow’s World Book Day celebrations, the Ministry of Culture has purchased £6000 worth of new books for the John Mackintosh Hall Library, including adult fiction, adult non-fiction and children’s fiction.
Almost 500 books have been purchased based on requests from members of the Library, and on advice from local experts in their fields. Bestseller lists were also consulted. A selection of popular young adult fiction books were also purchased, to cater for the current lack of books for readers of this age group.
