Apr 01 - Dragoons To Conduct Beach Landing Exercise
The Light Dragoons, who are currently in Gibraltar covering the Royal Gibraltar Regiment’s duties whilst they are in UK on exercise, will conduct a number of beach landing exercises as part of their training programme over the coming week.
The beach landing exercises will start on Thursday 3rd April and continue on Friday 4th, Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th at Rosia Bay. The exercises will start early in the morning and finish around mid-morning.
There will be four landings each day using the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron Rhib. The troops will then make their way on foot to Buffardero Training Centre as part of the exercise.
