May 13 - First Visit From Austrian Air Force

A test flight from the Austrian Air Force flew into RAF Gibraltar for the first time today.

The crew from the C130 Hercules aircraft were met by Station Commander Greg ‘Vasco’ Smith who welcomed them to Gibraltar for their brief visit and said: “I’m delighted that the Austrian Air Force have decided to use RAF Gibraltar for today’s test flight. I am keen to welcome them back for a longer visit next time which will give them enough time to take on a tour of the Rock.”
