May 21 - MOD Apologises for Early Morning False Alarm
The Ministry of Defence apologised to local residents who were disturbed by the South Mole Evacuation Alarm early this morning.
They claimed that an electrical fault, which can trip the alarm in adverse weather conditions, caused it to sound. The MOD has been investigating the problem and are currently working towards a permanent solution.
