May 27 - Sandy Bay Shuttle Service Is Back This Summer
The Government is pleased to announce the re-introduction of the shuttle service for the users of Sandy Bay Beach.
Commencing as from Saturday the 7th of June 2014, the shuttle service will operate between Europa Point and Sandy Bay thus allowing the public to use the Europa Point Car Park when planning to spend the day at Sandy Bay. The service will operate daily from 1100hrs to 1900hrs and will depart every 20 minutes.
Commenting on the matter, Neil Costa, Minister for Tourism and Public Transport said: “It gives me great pleasure to once again provide this complimentary shuttle service to our beach users, so that they may enjoy the fully regenerated Sandy Bay beach."
