Jun 04 - Government Sends Well Wishes to Commodore Clink

Following yesterday’s announcement that current CBF for Gibraltar, Commodore Clink will leave his post for a promotion to Rear Admiral, No.6 has congratulated the Commodore and wished him well in his new post, which will further include Flag Officer Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England and Flag Officer Reserves.

‘Commodore Clink will leave Gibraltar with all our best wishes,’ said Chief Minister Fabian Picardo. ‘I have enjoyed working with him and I know that he has always had Gibraltar’s best interests at heart.’

The Government also looks forward to welcoming Commodore Ian McGhie MA RN to his new post as Commander British Forces Gibraltar in early August.
