Jul 04 - 6th Anniversary of the disappearance of Chaima Slim

Royal Gibraltar PoliceNext week, on the 10th July 2014, it will be the sixth anniversary of the disappearance of Chaim Slim. Chaima, who is now 25 years old, was last seen crossing the frontier into Spain around midnight on the 10th July 2008. 

The Royal Gibraltar Police continue their investigation with periodic reviews and carrying out enquiries into her whereabouts. The statement issued by the RGP today states “Any new potential lines of investigation will be pursued”. 

Chaima is still listed on Interpol’s Missing Persons database, meaning that the Royal Gibraltar Police would be informed if any information were to be found globally. 

The statement continues by saying, “no new information has been forthcoming during the past year”. 

The RGP continue to appeal for any information from the General Public regarding the whereabouts of Chaima. Anyone wanting to come forward with any information relating to her should contact the Duty Officer at Police Headquarters on +350 200 12500. Alternatively they can call Women in Need on Telephone no +350 200 42581, a voicemail service is provided daily between 1500hrs to 0800hrs.
