Jul 14 - GSLA Summer Sports Programme Kicks Off
With school Summer holidays now in full swing, the GSLA’s annual Summer Sports programme kicks off this morning offering youngsters the opportunity to partake in a spectrum of activities including, volleyball, journalism and creative writing, football, mini basketball, ju-jitsu, ice skating, chess, swimming, tennis, the RGP summer camp, arts and crafts, cricket, and the ever popular sports train.
Many of the activities have been organized in partnership with voluntary sports associations, leisure providers and charities. Minister Steven Linares will visit the scheme, at the Victoria Stadium, this morning.
The programme is co-ordinated by the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority and is sponsored by NatWest bank.
