Oct 29 - Solar Powered Lights Installed in Bus Stops
Solar powered lights are currently being installed in all bus stops that do not have appropriate lighting. The lights are being installed by Techtrolec Ltd with thirty three out of the planned fifty six having already been installed.
Public Transport minister Neil Costa insisted that this fell in line with the Government’s eco-friendly drive and also added a sense of security inside bus stops. The project in envisaged to be completed by the end of November 2014.
