Nov 04 - Limited Edition Gibraltar Gold Coin on Sale
Following the highly successful launch of the Royal Silver coin series, HM Government of Gibraltar in partnership with the Gibraltar International yesterday released a very exclusive edition of only 20 Gold Proof coins. The coin is a legal tender coin with a face value of £100, containing one troy ounce of 24kt fine gold (99.99%).
The Rock of Gibraltar and timeless effigy of Her majesty the Queen are depicted in one side, with the reverse displaying the Gibraltar Coat of Arms.
Gibraltarians are being given the opportunity to purchase the coins before they go on sale internationally. They are expected to sell out quickly.
