Nov 05 - Youth Service Production Project Aims to Entice Youngsters Interested in Film & Photography
The Gibraltar Youth Production Team (GYPT) is a new Youth Service project which aims to attract young people between the ages 16-25 including, in particular those not in education, employment or training (in a bid to seek to assist in the development of skills useful to prospective employers).
The project aims to allow youngsters to pursue all the roles found in a film production and photography production team. Those involved are afforded the opportunity to build a portfolio of work and learn skills including working towards deadlines, presentation skills, time management, verbal and written communication, planning and organising, developing professionalism, action planning and decision-making, as well as the obvious photographic, video, lighting and editing skills.
